This great 500 piece puzzle will be just thing to entertain your dinosaur fan on cold or wet days or when they're feeling poorly and can't go outside!

There are lots of pieces and a nice combination of informative and fun - there are three time lines (Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous) with their respective Dinosaurs (or flying and swimming reptiles) marching along it

Each animal is named and has a little summary of where they are found and what they ate at the end of each period there is a human figure but JUST to compare the sizes .... we all know that there were no mammals before 225 millions years ago (the end of the Triassic) and Homo Sapiens didn't arrive until about 300,000 years ago

There are lots of favourites and some nice oddities too - this puzzle is a really nice way of getting the order straight in your head

The pieces are about 2.5cm (1 inch) if you ignore the in and out bits (which probably have proper names ... but we don't know them)

Apparently 500 piece puzzles are the best gifting size - for adults and children ages 9+ (although obviously everyone is different and some are ready to move on to bigger puzzles earlier)
