Terms & Conditions

1: Sale and Purchase

We will sell and you will purchase subject to our terms and conditions of business set out below. The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us.  For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order via our site does not constitute acceptance of an order.

2: Price

2.1 All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and inclusive of VAT (if applicable) unless otherwise specified.

2.2. All item prices are exclusive of delivery and packaging, unless otherwise stated.  Details of our delivery charges are found in our postage and delivery section.

3: Payment

Payment must be made in Pounds Sterling only by major credit or debit cards (issued in the UK) as listed: Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo.  Payment by cheque will be accepted but your order will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared.

4: Passing of Property

We will retain the property in the products until full payment has been made by you and has been received by us.

5: Passing of Risk

The risk in the products will pass to you on delivery, as set out in paragraph 6.3 below.

6: Delivery

6.1 Any date or period for delivery will be considered as indicative only, although it is our policy to try to fulfil all orders within 3 working days; items sent by parcel post may take longer to deliver.  We cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by our suppliers, any postal authority or any other third party.

6.2 All products are sent by post.  Unless we agree otherwise your order will only be made to the address (“the Despatch Address”) of the person who is the holder of the credit or debit card used to purchase the products.

6.3 You bear the risk once the products have been delivered to the Despatch Address by the postal authority.

7: Acceptance

You will inspect products within a reasonable time after their receipt and you will be deemed to have accepted the products unless you notify us in accordance with paragraph 8 below that the products are faulty.  If no such action is taken, we will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose, and may not accept any rejection or cancellation at a later date.  Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

8: Faulty Items

Any item that was faulty at the point of sale may be returned for free repair, replacement or refund, provided you have the original receipt or alternative proof of purchase and the faulty items is returned complete with all components and the original packaging.  Please Click Here to see our Returns Procedure for details of how to return faulty items.

9: General

9.1 Please note that our products and promotions are only available in mainland United Kingdom and Northern Ireland*.     * Some products are not available for delivery in Northern Ireland or off-shore islands.  Exceptions are detailed within individual Product Descriptions.

9.2 All age recommendations and suitability’s on the site are only a guide.

9.3 If any part or parts of these terms and conditions are deemed invalid, void or unenforceable, then that part or those parts will be considered severable from these terms and conditions thereby not preventing the remainder from being enforceable or effective.

9.4 These terms and conditions may be revised at any time and we reserve the right to do so without prior notice.  You are, therefore, advised to keep up to date with the contents of these terms and conditions as revisions are binding upon you.  The last revision date is shown at the bottom of these terms and conditions.

9.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described goods.  For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

10. Privacy Policy

Data

We only use  personal data that you provide to us directly by placing an order for a product.

We use the following data:

  • Name and address for shipping/delivery
  • Telephone number
  • Billing name and address
  • E-mail address
  • Payment information - but we do not hold payment details. Payment is processed through a Secure Payment Portal 

We need to use this data in the processing of your order and the safe delivery to your chosen recipient 

During the checkout procedure you can choose to register as a customer to save you the trouble of entering your data each time you order, then in addition to your specified personal data, we also save the username you have chosen - you can enter and adjust these settings yourself.

Purposes

We use the data we receive from you for different purposes.

  • Delivery of your order: we use the data for handling your order and it is possible that we pass on the data to a 'third party' delivery/courier company. Should it be necessary that we share the data with other companies then we require such a company to handle the data just as carefully as we do. Those companies may also only use the data for the purpose for which it was given.

  • Newsletter / SMS: You can register for our newsletter / SMS - you can stay informed about our offers, promotions and latest news. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter / SMS you can always unsubscribe via the link in any of our newsletters / SMS texts or ask us to do this for you
  • We want to make sure that you can use our website as optimally and personally as possible so we may use statistical services such as Google Analytics for this purpose. These services keep track of how you use our website but details such as your IP address are anonymised

  • We may be required by law to pass on personal data to the relevant authorities, for example if we suspect fraud or abuse of our website.

Security

We protect all information you provide us with the most modern techniques.

We are certified through 'Global Fortress' as compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

We do not allow anyone that has nothing to do with your data access to it. Should it be necessary that we share the data with other companies then we require such a company to handle the data just as carefully as we do. Those companies may also only use the data for the purpose for which it was given.

We use cookies which helps our website work well and you can enjoy shopping. You can, if you wish, set your browser not to receive cookies with websites that you visit but the websites you visit may not work as intended without these cookies.
