There is no need to introduce Velociraptor ... the most famous raptor of thm all!

These feisty, chicken sized terrors were hiding in the long grasses of the late cretaceous period gashing their prey with their 7.5cm long hind claws

They really were much, much smaller than the size we are used to seeing portrayed in the movies (not mentioning any names here Jurassic people!)

Think more knee high and feathery - still nasty, vicious little things though and you wouldn't want to be chased round a kitchen by one!

SO, despite all that we all STILL love Velociraptors don't we!
