The perfect combination of fun and education, this excavation kit contains all you need to dig FIFTEEN real fossils from the plaster block 

Not only is it an absorbing process to locate your fossils but there is the fun of identifying the fossils from the identification booklet provided, learning about them and then adding them to your collection (or starting your collection if you don't have any yet!)

If you've never used a 'dig kit' before - they can be really messy so it is best to work on a tray or old pizza box (to help contain the dust and chippings) and cover the table with old newspaper. If you're a bit susceptible to dust wearing a face mask might be a good idea

Children under 8 will probably need a lot of help from an adult to get the most enjoyment from the kit
