• Spinosaurus Grey - Safari Carnegie Collection

You've GOT TO have an example of the BIGGEST (and possibly the baddest) carnivorous dinosaur that ever lived - one of the earliest BIG carnivorous or maybe fish eating dinosaurs (or maybe a bit of both)

Instantly recognisable with his distinctive 'sail' and massive build ... this one was a REAL bad boy!

There have not been many Spinsaurus fossils found (and most of those are incomplete) so there is still quite a lot of debate about what they looked like, with the current feeling that they were a bit more 'low slung' rather than upright

They had massive claws on their thumbs and conical, serrated teeth

This is a discontinued Safari Carnegie model number 411001 (it is bigger than the more recent, also discontinued, model 279329)

Length 21cm (8.5 inch)

Height 13.5cm (5.5 inches)

Age 3+
